Alan Anacki

Alan is the owner and founder of Bridgewater Motor Works, Ltd.  He started his automotive career helping out his father at Tony's Gulf Service Station in Bridgewater as a high school student.  Not particularly impressed by the domestic vehicles of the time, Alan went on to study engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.  The car bug (in the form of a Mercedes) bit him while in college.  His professional automotive career began in 1975 at Foreign Motors in Boston where he attended several Mercedes schools.  Since then he has kept abreast of the industry with training from Robert Bosch, LMVIND, and Management Success.  Alan is a Master & L1 (emmissions) ASE Certified Technician as well as a Massachusetts Registered Repair Technician for emmissions.   He also holds ASE certifications as an engine machinist and an automobile parts specialist.  His many accomplishments include driving his BMW race car to a track championship.  Alan is the driving force behind Bridgewater Motor Works.  His passion for excellence is evident throughout the company and is one of the reasons for its continued success.

 

Michael Holmes

Mike joined the Bridgewater Motor Works team in April of 2001 as the service writer / service manager.  He is an experienced professional who has the ability to remain calm and cool no matter what the circumstance.  His resume includes employment by Direct Tire, Firestone Tire, and NTB.  Mike's knowledge of tires and rims is unparalleled.  His car of choice is Volkswagon, although he recently traded his VW Jeta for a Mercedes C class.  Mike enjoys all the fine European cars serviced by Bridgewater Motor Works.   He may not be the one you want to personally to work on you vehicle, but he is the one to make sure it gets to the technician best able to service it correctly.

Mike has two youngsters to keep him awake and alert when he is home.

Robert Anacki

Bob is a third generation mechanic who cut his teeth in the automobile repair business at an early age helping his dad repair Mercedes in the driveway of his grandparents' house on South Street in Bridgewater.  Besides having mastered the repair of  European automobiles, Bob is a skilled Toyota technician.  He is an ASE Certified Master Technician and has attended factory courses from Toyota as well as from the Robert Bosch Corporation.  Bob is an acomplished race car fabricator and has won many races as a driver as well.

ROBIN SHERMAN

Robin, with Alan, is responsible for the office functions of Bridgewater Motor Works. Usually Robin keeps a low profile, but if anything gets out of hand she is not afraid to take charge. She has been an integral part of Bridgewater Motor Works since 1990.
Robin is the proud mother of two daughters and answers to "Granny" to her four grandchildren.

Jeff Strausbaugh

Jeff is the ultimate parts professional.  His relationship with Alan, the owner, began at Foreign Motors in Boston where Jeff was a Mercedes parts counterman and Alan was a mechanic.  Jeff became the assistant parts manager before he left for Cambridge Imported Cars to become the parts manager.  Before Herb Chambers took over Cambridge Imported Cars Jeff left the big city to work with his long time friend at Bridgewater Motor Works.  That was back in February of 1989.  He has been working with Alan at Bridgewater Motor Works since.
